Did you know how many pieces of bread i burnt before i finally got it right. The instructions on the toaster indicated 4 – 6 minutes at 230 deg. I was skeptical about this and even stood by to keep watch. And boy, was i right. It got so hot and the bottom got burnt very quickly, lol. I reduced the temperature to 100 deg and stood guard for a few minutes until i got it right. And it’s fabulous. Yes, this is so different from the upright two-slice toaster that i had previously. Okay, now i know how to toast a perfect piece of bread. Pass.
