Hubby wanted his soya milk with almonds this time. So, the usual cup of black and yellow soya beans topped with a handful or almonds. Organic, of cos. Gee…. i just love this pic. Do you? I feel like popping the almonds into my mouth now, lol.
Soak for 10 hours. The skin of almonds are not that easy to remove by hand unlike soya beans.. You wont complain if you are removing only a small handful. But when you are removing a cup, try blanching it in hot water for a minute and they’ll come off easily. And it’ll be ready to go into the soya bean milk maker. You have to try this if you love homemade soya milk. It adds a wonderful aroma and flavor to the otherwise bland taste of soya milk.
