I didnt cook for Chinese New Year. This is one of the dishes my MIL made. It’s a homecooked chinese vegetarian dish and eaten on the 1st day of Chinese New Year. It’s a family tradition that never changes but i dont mind cos i’m not much of a meat eater anyway.
I hate being pressured to cook for a crowd. And i hate it even more when i’m expected to cook during festive celebration. But one day, sooner or later, i’ll have to cook for my family. Now is the time to experiment and learn more yummy dishes from my MIL.
Vegetarian dishes are good as they are nutritious and full of fibre. Guarantee no constipation, lol. Chinese vegetarian dishes are a great way to give the body a detox. Clears your digestive system of clogged up toxins. By the way, the Malaysia General Election day is on 8th March 2008. It’ll be good to eat this dish on that day as it keeps you full for a long time. I’ve been to the previous Malaysia Election Day before and i know how long the whole thing can be. So, do your part and cast your vote, ya.
