I’m supposed to bake some muffins for my kid’s birthday last month. That’s the reason why i bought this box of Krusteaz Lemon Poppyseed Muffin Mix. But there were far too many programs in store for his birthday.
My kid wanted to dine at Kenny Roger’s, and after that, hubby took him to Moven Peak for spaghetti. And then, my sis baked him a big chocolate moist cake and we all had fun at her place.
In all, we’ve been out every single day. Really no chance to bake anything. Let’s see if hubby wants to take them out or not tomorrow. If not, i’ll have some fun baking Lemon Poppyseed Muffins.

My Tefal 12cm Egg Frying Pan is back. See how cute it is. I’ve dumped my old egg frying pan as its performance was below par. After the first use, every egg that i fry with it stuck to the bottom, lol.
This is the second Tefal frying pan that i’ve bought. The first being the Tefal 28cm Tempo stir-fry pan. Tefal has a very good range of cookware. When i move to my own place next time, i’ll buy a lot of Tefal cookware for my kitchen.
To me, an egg frying pan is a must. My kid love eggs very much and you cant fry an egg properly using the 28cm frying pan. The egg whites will be all over the place. I dont like the wok either as i find it stupid to fry an egg with that huge thing.
I havent started using this Tefal Egg Frying Pan yet. Tomorrow’s Saturday and let’s see if i’m in the mood to make breakfast or not. No idea what’s available in the kitchen for me to cook also, lol. I’m out of hashbrown potatoes, that’s for sure. Forgot to buy some when i was at Parkson this noon. No bread either. But no worries, there’s plenty of seafood in the freezer. I’ll conjure something up.

This bottle of Leggo’s Alfredo Pasta Sauce caught my attention as i was heading to the cashier’s counter at Cold Storage the other day. It’s been quite a long time since i last bought a bottle of Leggo’s pasta sauce. That’s how it ended up in my kitchen now.
I know Alfredo Sauce goes well with Fetucinni. But all i have now is half a packet of Organic Kamut Pasta inside the fridge. Will have to try this bottle of Leggo’s Alfredo Pasta Sauce with the remaining Organic Kamut Pasta until my next trip to Cold Storage.

It’s almost midnight here and my kid cant sleep. He’s hungry and requested for “Meen-meen egg”. What to do? A mom gotta do what a mom gotta do, and that’s to make sure my kid dont go to bed with an empty stomach. I wanted to make him a light sandwich, but as today’s a weekend, i didnt buy any bread back. No choice but to cook him his “Meen-meen egg”. Oh, it’s nothing much. Just a packet of instant noodles without the MSG Seasoning Powder with an egg in it. Once cooked, dribble some organic sesame oil and Kikkoman Soy Sauce (less sodium version) to it and he’ll eat everything up happily. A really easy-going kid.
Whilst my boy was having his “Meen-meen egg”, i made myself a bowl of Mamee Tom Yam Siam. My Mother-in-law cooked Braised Spareribs With Mushrooms for lunch today. We were out the whole day and only realised there’s food in the kitchen very much later. And so, i added some of her Braised Spareribs With Mushrooms to my Mamee Tom Yam Siam and let it soak for a while to absorb the flavor. Just dont cook the instant noodle till it’s fully softened if you intend to let it stand or it’ll turn soggy. And that’s what i had for supper. A bowl of the most delicious Mamee Tom Yam Siam With Braised Spareribs And Mushrooms.
