Malaysian politics can be quite entertaining at times. The Elizabeth Wong naked pics scandal hasnt even subsided and now, we have a whole new political drama series to follow on Malaysiakini. Well, that also depends on which side of the fence you are on.
Perak Menteri Besar, Datuk Dr Zambry Abd Kadir, is barred for 18 months, and the 6 exco members, 12 months. Does that means that PKR is now back in power with 28 seats, whereby BN only has 24? Remember what happened on 8th February 2009, the power struggle between PKR and BN? Sibeh tulan lorrrrrr. You say hai mm hai.
Whatever it is, i just hope Ipoh remains a safe place for all. Not another road-block, puhlease. On another note, it’s also rumored that Hee Yit Foong has resigned. That leaves BN with one less strong supporter. Fuyoh…. money down the drain lorrr, lolol.
Gardenia’s Delicia Butterscotch Bread is the next best thing to Tamago Sushi as far as my 2.5yo picky eater, Malcolm is concerned. It’s hard trying to get him to eat anything. I’m still working on weaning him off breastmilk completely. He’s doing fine, but needs time to adjust to the “addiction”. I’ll give him another month or so. Gosh, you wont know how sien and tiring it is until you breastfeed one that only wants nanna, nanna, nanna and nothing but nanna all day long for as long as he’s been on earth.
These were the two loaves of Gardenia’s Butterscotch bread that hubby bought on one of his trips to 7-11 sometime back. It’s the first time he managed to get hold of this new offering from Gardenia as it runs out way faster than the Choco Raisin flavor. I thought only Gordon and i would whack it. But surprisingly, no. Malcolm walked up and requested for a slice which i gladly gave him. And boy, i was happy when he asked for second helping!!!!
Gardenia’s Delicia Butterscotch bread has a cake-like texture when it’s fresh. It’s a sweet bread, ok. Costs Rm4 each, costly eh. But you cant complain lah cos you save on jams and butter, ok. Just like Gardenia’s Toast’em variety, it’s also good to eat on its own. Havent tried toasting and eating it with my favorite SCS butter yet though. I believe it’ll be out of this world, lol. Well, go try it, if you manage to get hold of one.
I was having my lunch when hubby called up. He’s been away for days and doesnt have the laptop with him. Not that he has the time to surf when he’s traveling also lah.
Hubby : You’ve heard about this PKR Selangor executive councillor Elizabeth Wong nude pics scandal on Malaysiakini?
Me : Ya. I only checked out the headlines. The Star Online also got mah.
Hubby : Everyone i come across is asking the same question on these Elizabeth Wong nude pics? Have you seen them?
Me : No, not yet. No time go dig. Nice meh. See me nude not enough meh.
Hubby : I no internet here mah. If it’s all over the internet as claimed, then i’m sure you’ll be able to dig them out. Save them for me, k.

So, after lunch, i put my blogger skills to work and tra la la la la la….. BINGO!! But what i saw was not entirely naked pics of Elizabeth Wong lah, k. It’s only pics taken of her when she’s sleeping on the sofa, with her legs opened wide for all to see. The pics could have been taken at her home by someone she knows. Or someone could’ve just stood at her window and zoomed in with their camera phone or digital camera.
The site i went to is notorious for these kind of postings. Politicians, celebrities, Ah Bengs, Ah Lians, all not spared. I’m sure if there are really more nude pics of Elizabeth Wong as claimed, they’ll definitely crop up there. At about the same time last year, the internet was the most happening place with the Edison Chen, Bobo Chan, Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung nude and sex pics scandal. Remember?
This Elizabeth Wong nude pics scandal is nothing compared to that. Those were one of most prized collection that HK entertainment had to offer all netizens. But i dont understand why PKR Elizabeth Wong offers to quit over this nude photos scandal. She has done nothing wrong in the first place. Under pressure? As a woman, i fully support Elizabeth Wong.

This batch of pictures were taken on 4th February 2009 at Jaya Jusco, Kinta City, Ipoh. If i dont put them up, i’ll most probably never will. It was still Chinese New Year, and there was this Chinese Arts And Crafts Exhibition going on. I was there with hubby and both kids. What’s there to do in Ipoh, haimai.
The first thing that caught my eyes was this Chinese Sugar Art display of a Dragon. I managed to squirm my way into the crowd and took this pic. It’s made entirely from melted sugar, or malt (mak ngah). Beautiful eh, and edible too. It only costs Rm5 to have one done before your eyes. There is a chart in front of the man and you just select which design you want him to make. It only take a minute or two and you’ll get to show this off in your hands.
I was lucky as a lady behind me wanted to buy one for her kid. I fast fast took out my ever-ready Nokia N82 and took this video. It’s a Monkey trying to pick fruits. The Monkey, Rm5. The video, Priceless. Mesmerized, Gordon also clapped his hands and says, “That’s very good. That’s nice…..” No, darling…. Mama’s not buying you one.
This is a 3d Sugar Art Praying Mantis. This costs about Rm30 each o.O. I assume a lot of work is needed to produce this that it costs 6x more than the 2d version. Too bad no one ordered this. NOT ME, NOT ME, NOT ME!!!!
And here’s another Sugar Art Goldfish. It’s actually quite lively if you watch it closely. Also, no one ordered this . Too csotly lorrrr. Not that it’s something that we can keep forever. If we dont eat it, the ants will. If i dont eat it, MY KIDS WILL!!!
These are Chinese Dough Art. For a few bucks (cant remember liao), you get your very own personalized figurine crafted in real time for you. Upon closer inspection, the image on the figurine the man is working on looks quite like the lady seated there. Not bad, eh. I just wonder how long these will last. The man was in deep concentration and i faisi disturb him. If the kids werent with me, i really dont mind having one done too.
Beautiful ladies in glass displays. Very small, about 2 inches or so only. Chinese Dough Art brings back lots of childhood memories. I used to go to the wet market with my mom when i was just a tot. Once in a while, we’ll see an old Chinese Ah Pek selling these Chinese Dough figurines at the market. And no, mom seldom buys me one. I cant even remember if she ever bought me one of these or not. We dont have much money back then. Every cent that we had went to food for the family.

What can you expect to eat when one’s on diet, lol. This is what i had for lunch. Rice of mixed wholegrains accompanied by Stuffed Tofu and Stir-fried Vegetables. I hate the fact there’s so much white rice in the mix but my in-laws cannot stand too much brown rice, red rice, buckwheat groats, and such. Say it’s too hard for them worr. Give and take a little lah, haimai.
