Of Fishballs And Snooker

This plate of fishballs that my Mother-in-law placed into the rice cooker the other day reminds me so much of the new drama series, The King Of Snooker, that’s going to air tonight. I used to accompany hubby to the Snooker Club when we were still dating. I dont really like it as the place is darn cold and made me feel like a marble statue there. What to do? Dating mah, lol.

Coming back to this The King Of Snooker. I hope this new drama series will be good. I’ve not seen Adam Cheng acting for a long time. Many people say he’s handsome but seriously, he’s really not my cup of tea leh, LOL. Well, check back each weekday for The King Of Snooker episodes as they’ll be up as soon as i get the streaming and download links. Enjoy.

Green Apples, Carrots, Corn With Pork Soup – Recipe

Have you any idea just how hot the weather is these days? We get extreme heat for a few straight days, and then, it pours in the evening without fail. Ok, screw the weather. Let’s think of ways to cool the body down instead. The best way is to make sure we stay hydrated at all times. Drink lots of plain water, and cooling soups. Beverages like coffee and tea dehydrates the body. So, drink less of those, k.

We’re having a huge pot of organic green apples, carrots, corn with pork soup today. It’s very nutrituous and cooling. Great for weather like now. Malcolm will like this very much cos there’s carrots in it. Gordon will only want the soup to go with his noodle or rice. Me, i eat everything, lol. Dip the pork slices in Kikkoman Soy Sauce to go with the hot rice, yummy.

I’ve already mentioned all the ingredients needed to make this Green Apples soup. You can substitute the meat with chicken or pork ribs if you like. Though this soup’s main ingredient is Green Apples, it’s not sour at all. In fact, you’ll be surprised at how sweet it is. Go on, try it. Best to buy organic green apples as we’re leaving the skin on. It may just turn out to be your kids’ favorite soup.

Basil Soup With Eggs And Fishballs

It’s a cold evening. It rained so hard just now that a few trees fell onto the street outside my house. We’re lucky as our cars were not parked there. If not, i can only imagine the damage.

My Mother-in-law made this Basil soup with eggs and fishballs just now. Malcolm will enjoy it. We used to order this for him when we have meals at the nearby foodcourt.

I’ll get this Basil Soup Recipe from her when she’s in a good mood, lol. Our neighbor has Basil plants. It’ll be great to make this for my picky-eater whenever he asks for soup.

Pet Society Toy Mystery Egg Items And Scene Animations (VIDEO)

Gordon had a great time buying and opening those new Pet Society Toy Mystery Eggs. He’s a lucky kid with a mom who actually spends her precious time making sure he has ample Pet Society Coins to buy whatever he wants for Mina. I dont know how much he spent at the Mystery Shop, but i guess it’s a lot as he just kept clicking and clicking and clicking away.

I stopped by his table to check what’s all the new Pet Society Toy Mystery Egg items and scenes are and am glad to see that my boy has all three scenes and the entire twelve toys in the chest. Of course there are duplicates. Too bad, he cannot gift them to his friends. He can only sell them off for a miserable 116 coins each. Each Toy Mystery Egg costs 350 coins, you know.

And here’s a video of Gordon’s happy pet, Mina, with all her Toy Mystery Egg items and scenes on display.

From left to right: Alien Abduction Scene with the F-16, Helicopter, UFO and Plane. Red Alert Scene with the Police Car, Tank, Ambulance and Firetruck. Deep Sea Trouble Scene with the Pirate Ship, Submarine, Motor Boat and Sailboat.

Though you cannot gift the Toys nor the Scenes, you can always send your friends unopened Toy Mystery Eggs. Just you wait. Soon, we’ll have a Toy Mystery Egg cheat.

Sushi King Card Rm2 Bonanza

Sushi King Card RM2 Bonanza

Each time we take the kids to Parkson, we will stop by Sushi King to buy Tamago Sushi for the kids. Malcolm loves it very much and can eat quite a few by himself. We usually buy two twin packs. One for each boy. If they want more, we’ll buy extra. At Rm2 each pack, it’s still affordable. I do save whenever i can. But when it comes to food for my kids, i will buy them whatever they want to eat. Organic or not, they still have to eat, right.

Sushi King Card Rm2 Bonanza will be on from 13 – 15 April 2009 (West Malaysia), and 20 -23 April 2009 (East Malaysia) So, mark it down onto your calender or key this important date into your phone, ok. The latter is the best way. Do set a reminder and make sure it beeps you on time, lol. If not, i’m sure you’ll be ranting away should you miss this event.

I hope hubby will be around on those days to take the kids to Sushi King. He’s very busy these days and travels a lot. The last time we dined there was during CNY Chor 1. I sure wont drive to Parkson all by myself. Scared shit of muggers, aitelyu. Not that i like to drive in the first place, unless i absolutely need to. Remember…. Sushi King Card Rm2 Bonanza April 2009. Dont forget to bring along your Sushi King Card, lol!!!
