I went to check on my homemade yogurt at 10.30am sharp. It’s more than the 12 hours needed to make a wholesome tub of homemade yogurt. You can go and read my post on how to make homemade yogurt here.
And boy, isnt my tub of homemade yogurt perfect? It really is. I can tell that it’s firm and has just the right amount of water content. And yes, i can smell the mango flavor. My kids are going to love it. It’ll have to go into the fridge a for a couple of hours.
Hubby and i went out for lunch and we only ate the homemade yogurt when we got home later in the evening. Malcolm took about two spoonfuls and that’s it. DOWANNNN. He’s like that. As long as i can get him to take a little bit everyday, i’m one happy mom. Gordon loves it very much. My sis dropped by just now and i gave her a bowl. She also loves it very much and asked me to make some for her. Haiya… no problem lah.
I’ll be making this all year round. If you want to be healthy, then eat more yogurt. It’s one of the healthiest live food around with so much live cultures in it. It’ll be good for your guts. The bio-availability of the calcium content in a bowl of homemade yogurt is definitely better compared to all the calcium supplements you take. It’salso one of best skin food around. If you are making the plain one, you can even use it as a face mask.
Ok, i’m not going to talk so much now. Gordon keeps yanking me to the kitchen as he wants another bowl of healthy homemade yogurt. My kids dont have constipation problems. All the acidophillus, bifidus, etc. will make sure they poo everyday. If you are suffering from constipation, then go do yourself a favor and eat some homemade yogurt. Just buy a yogurt maker and a packet of yogurt base back. That’s all you need to stay healthy
