Establishments like Coffee Bean sure has a fool proof way to make me keep going back over and over again. It’s their Coffee Bean Card….. sigh. The moment my credit dips, i’ll tend to top it up again. Why? Cos i get 10% when i top The Coffee Bean Card up lorr. Not that i mind as my boys get to enjoy having cakes there on weekends. I seldom bake these days.

Here’s what Malcolm chose last weekend. Gordon is okay with anything. He’s not as picky as Malcolm as far as food intake is concerned. Chocolate is always a firm favorite with my boys. See, their fingers will always be where the chocolate shavings are, lol. They wont touch the cake until all the chocolate shavings are gone. The cake is delicious and not too sweet. Just the way i like it :)

I’ve planned on buying a convection oven and breadmaker but shelved the idea as electricity tariff keeps going up. Not that i bake much to begin with. So, difficult to justify that “want” factor for the time being. After all, Coffee Bean has quite a few cakes that my kids like to eat. Will do. Definitely more economical than baking my own.
