I seriously think Oldtown Kopitiam should offer me a big discount for mentioning their outlets so many times on my blog, lol. Anyway. this is the largest Oldtown Kopitiam outlet in Malaysia at time of writing. It’s located at Gunung Rapat. You wont miss it. It’s just a few hundred meters after you pass by Sam Poh Toong.
I came here the first time in the middle of the night with hubby and both kids in tow. I was dead bored waiting for my downloads to finish and the kids refuse to sleep as it was the school holidays then. I jumped when hubby suggested we might as well take the kids to McDonalds. We actually wanted to tire them out at the playarea, lol. After 20 minutes of chasing after them, we figured they dont get tired after all and drove over here for some food instead. The kitchen was about to close but we still managed to grab a bite.
We sat outside at the booths and here’s the scene from where we sat. The entrance is at the left andthere were still many people around.
This pic was taken a week later or so if my memory serves me right. We sat upstairs at the balcony this time. They have a long row of sofa seats facing each other along the stretch of the balcony.
You can see 24hrs McDonald’s tall signage from where we sat. The road here leads to the heart of Gunung Rapat, where the market is located.
Here’s how the front of the balcony looks like with table seating and a few booths.
Just another view of the front balcony from where we sat.
The interior of the first floor main dining area.
This is the back portion of the first floor. If you are here with a group of friends and you need more privacy, you can sit here. You gotta book these places as there are only two sections available.
Here’s another view of the back of the outlet. If you are another Oldtown Kopitiam junkie like me, you may want to yumcha here one day. Dont forget to invite me along, hoh….
