My niece ordered this Assam Laksa when we went for tea at Oldtown Kopitiam yesterday evening. It’s the school holidays and both my sisters are home. So, we all went back to my Mom’s place for a get-together. Looking at this bowl of Assam Laksa now makes me so hungry. Moreover, it’s raining heavily. Who wouldnt say no to a bowl of steaming hot and spicy Assam Laksa, haimai. Too bad, it’s raining now. If not, i may just walk over to Oldtown Kopitiam……
Have you tried Twisties Lurve before? My kids love it very much and walloped everything up shortly after i opened these two packets. We seldom allow them to eat junk food but since i havent tried it myself, they get the luxury of snacking on junk food just this once, lol. This Twisties Lurve is not too bad. But compared to the classic Red and Green Twisties i grew up with, i really prefer the latter two.
I saw this Red Tin Toy Truck as i was going up the escalator right outside Jusco Supermarket. Malcolm forgot to take his favorite “car-car” along with us that day. He wasnt happy and was sulking in his stroller.
Being the ever loving mom that i am, i went down to ask the girl if the Red Toy Truck is for sale or not. To my delight, she told me it is but it comes together with a packet of Famous Amos Cookies.
It was then that i realised that Malcolm has never tasted Famous Amos Cookies before. So, what the heck. It’s only Rm21.90, and Malcolm gets a new Toy Truck too. And yes, he became the happiest kid as soon as i handed him this Famous Amos Red Tin Toy Truck.
When was the last time you ate Famous Amos Cookies? It was so good that everything was gone in less than 10 minutes. Dare not buy anymore. Can be really heaty.
If you are a real Famous Amos Cookie fan, you can now bake famous Amos Cookie with this recipe. Someone sent me this Famous Amos Cookie Recipe long ago and claims it costs a whopping Rm250, ok.
Ingredients
2 cups butter
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal &
blend in blender
to a fine powder)
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 tsp. salt
18 oz. Cadbury bar (grated)
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)
2 tsp. vanilla
Method:
1) Cream the butter and both sugars.
2) Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda.
3) Add chocolate chips, Cadbury bar and nuts.
4) Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
5) Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 122 cookies
Bought a box of strawberries and three avocados from Tesco yesterday.It’s been quite a long time since i last ate avocados. I used to eat lots of them when i was still living in KL. This is today’s brunch. We had lots of leftover rice from last night and i dont feel like eating out today. With just some ginger, shallots, garlic and a few eggs, everyone get to enjoy Ginger Eggs Fried Rice today. So, what are you gonna eat for lunch today?

Steps:
1. Select IE/FF as process
2. Tick “Enable Speedhack”
3. When you are answering the questions in the game, change Speed to “0″ and click apply.
4. Open another browser to search for the correct answer. (Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask, etc.)
5. Once you get the correct answer, click on the option with the correct answer.
