I’m still trying to recover from all the food and beer i had over Christmas. Friends were back from KL and requested for these Salted-eggs Crabs for dinner. It’s good, or maybe i’ve not had crabs in years, lol! Hate having to dig the meat from the shells and also the fact that one tiny bit of shell just have to lodge itself between my teeth each time i eat crabs. Nevertheless, i survived Christmas 2009. Looking forward to another session to wrap up year 2009.
We also have one last new drama series starting. It’s A Watchdog’s Tale. The following days are gonna be super busy for me. It rained just now and i fell asleep. I was woken up by something freaking cold on my face. My kid placed an egg he took from the fridge on my face! He told me he’s hungry, lol! I forgot both of them only ate Wonton Meen for brunch. Ok, me lousy Mom.
And so, i dragged myself to the kitchen, took the one egg frying pan down from the wall and fried the egg for him. He’s eating it with rice and fried pomfret. My one egg frying pan cute, right. Very convenient too.

Malcolm requested for Ice-cream a few days back. He was suffering from Papa Withdrawal Symptoms, lol. It’s always the case each time Papa leaves for KL. He’ll be whiny for a couple of days, and then, Papa will be home again, he’ll be happy for a few days, and once Papa goes back, the routine repeats. If ice-cream is all that’s needed to keep him happy, i buy!

I’m so hungry now. Wish of the moment would be to gobble up this plate of Dancing Fried Rice. Try this delicious fried rice if you happen to go to Greentown. It’s available at Chatter Corner. I hang out at Yik Foong’s Chatter Corner more as i go to the yarn store there quite often.
I believe they named it Dancing Fried Rice as you can really see the Bonito flakes dancing about in the wind when they place it before you. The other ingredient is minced pork. The combination is really good. I’m going to buy a big packet of Bonito flakes on my next trip to the supermarket. I think my kids will like it too.

I’ve been up since 6 this morning. After updating my blog, i woke hubby up as i wanted to have Kai Si Hor Fun at Chun Chun. Well, it’s actually Restoran Jen Jen. If you hop over to one of my older post, you can see what the signboard outside the coffeeshop looks like.
We arrived shortly after 8am. The shop was half full then. Right after we placed our order and sat down, people started to flock into the shop. Thank God we were early enough. If not, can forget about having breakfast here unless you have time to kill and very patient.
The soup base here is very sweet. The hor fun, of course, fine and smooth. I requested for skinned drumstick with prawns and chicken liver.
And if you happen to be very hungry now, nah….. have a bite. Open your mouth….. aaaaaahhhhhh………..
It’s so good that i even tapau-ed two packets back for my kids. If they cant finish it, i’ll be very willing to help them out, lol. Oh man, there goes my waistline……..
