Deep-fried Butter Lotus Root Slices

I got hooked to this Deep-fried Butter Lotus Root Slices dish the very first time i tried it many years ago. You can “try” ordering it when you dine at Restaurant 1919 at Ipoh Garden East, the corner restaurant opposite Tesco. It’s not available everyday.

I’m now watching A Chip Off The Old Block online and waiting for my phone to ring. Hubby’s coming back today and he’ll call me up when he’s about to reach Ipoh. I have a good mind to take the kids to 1919 again for this dish, lol. Well, you folks can go watch A Chip Off The Old Block or continue drooling over my favorite dish.
