Machee

A good friend bought some machee for my kids the other day. It’s pandan flavored glutinous rice balls with ground peanuts and gula melaka filling, coated with flour. My Mom used to buy me Machee from the wet market when i was a kid. Seeing these Machee brings back fond memories of my childhood. Ever had Machee before?

    Hi there,

I have been following you for awhile now and really love your blog on the food and the stories you tell. I am a Malaysian and based in the UK and looking at the food you put online bring back lots of memories and also notice how much Malaysia has change. Just what to let you know that you have been doing a good job and keep up the good work.
