Four-sided beans are also known as winged beans. Oh, there are many other names for this small weird-looking beans but that’s not important. You just need to know that it’s four-sided, and flares from the center into ruffled wings at the ridges. It’s crunchy and tastes “greenish”. The whole bean can be eaten. It’s best fried with sambal. My sis cooked up a whole wok of fried rice with this four-sided beans and some bacon. I had a huge plate of this together with a spoonful of that hot and spicy homemade sambal my mom concocted.
