My neighbor gave us these baby mustards this morning. She grows them outside my house. They are so sweet and tender.

Cheese Omelet

I woke up with a grouchy 8yo this morning. The other front tooth of his is loose and he doesnt like it. As i was preparing fried rice for their lunch, he walked in and declared he doesnt want rice today. He then took out a packet of rice vermicelli and i cooked that with some marinated minced pork for him instead. I remembered seeing a friend preparing cheese omelet for breakfast a while ago and that gave me an idea is to what to put into his lunchbox for recess later on.

And so, tadaa…. Gordon’s getting Cheese Omelet hor-pau-dan styled for recess today. Crunchy on the outside with all the cheesy goodness all wrapped up inside. I’ll skip the mayo and top it with ketchup for him instead. He can have it with a few packets of those dried Japanese seaweed. Heavenly, eh. I dont think he’ll object to this at all!

Sunday Baking – Pork Ribs with Root Vegetables


It’s Sunday. Baking is best suited for weekends. So, we’re gonna have baked pork ribs with potatoes and carrots for lunch later on. Hope it turns out right. *fingers crossed*

Sunday lunch of Baked Pork Ribs, Potatoes and Carrot with Rice. My kids told me it's "super delicious". It sure is!

Nutritional Supplements For Good Health

Last night, i updated my Facebook status with the word “tired”, and almost immediately, received 20 likes for it. I believe most of my friends are just as tired after a long day at work. Well, that was about 9pm and though i may be damn tired, i dont get to rest till well past 11pm. My kid has night tuition class and i still had to go pick him up around 10pm. By the time we reach home earliest around 10.20pm, i have to get both boys ready for bed. Now you understand why i said i dont get to rest till well past 11pm.

In bed, i checked my phone to see what my friends have to say about my status update and i had a good laugh. Most of them said they need to take some supplements and asked for recommendations. I agree with them that it’s important for everyone to take some form of vitamin supplements to boost our health. Jess told me she’s been taking supplements from Nature’s Best.
