I marinated some pork chops yesterday. As Gordon havent had bread for recess for quite some time, i believe he’ll enjoy having sandwiches for a change. I trimmed away the sides from two slices of Gardenia Wholemeal Bread as Gordon wont eat them if he sees them. As for cream cheese, i used Kraft Cheese Spread. Fried the pork chops and placed them between each slice of bread. No cucumber again, sigh. I also added a banana for dessert. Not bad la, ok.
This is the Bamboo Charcoal Bread with Mixed Nuts i bought just now. It has a little walnut, pine nuts, and mostly sunflower seeds and sesame seeds on it. I cant remember what the rest are cos hubby ate most of it, lol. It has a nice taste and texture though. I may buy it again if it’s available.
My friend bought me this satay-style bamboo charcoal bread one day. Oh, it’s nothing much. Just lumps of coal black goodness, lol. If you know how to make bread, you just need to add some Bamboo Charcoal Powder to it.
I know, you want to know what it tastes like, right? It’s just like plain bread, and oh, a little sweet. Will go well with kaya or any kind of jam of your choice. Me, i just want to eat it plain, or with butter. What about you? How do you like it?
If this aint food p0rn, tell me what it is. I dont know about you, but the first thing that came to my mind is, “CB bun”, lol! The filling is made of egg mayo (a bit too dry) with a small piece of ham shaped to house some ketchup. My friend bought it for my kid for recess. I nearly died laughing when she handed it to me. Damn, Samm so bad…. And to my drama addicts, how’s Cupid Stupid? I dont have time to even watch Cupid Stupid online from my phone, sigh…. You folks enjoy la. You need “chocolatebar”, ok.
I keep telling myself if i buy recipe books and yet, never put them to good use, then it’s good money wasted. That’s why, i always make it a point to make use of it at least once before it goes and live on my bookshelf forever, lol. I do have quite a lot of recipe books. And yes, they’ve all been used at least once by yours truly before, k.
This morning, i woke up quite early to work on my blogs. Gordon woke up shortly after and asked for a cheese sandwich. The box of Cookie Baking Kit i bought recently is still lying on my desk. And so, i told myself to take it to the kitchen and come up with something for him really quick. Or else, he’ll go wake up Monster Malcolm.
Of course i wont be baking cookies now as i dont even have the basic ingredients needed for that. Well, at least i can still use them on Egg Toast. The loaf of bread is one day past it’s expiry date and just right for making Egg Toast, one of Gordon’s favorite breakfast. Aiya…. whatever has egg in it, he’ll like, period. Here are just some of the pics i took as i played with my new baking toys.

Gordon told me the Bird Cookie Cutter is a dog!!!! Does it look anything like a dog to you????? And the Star shaped one is self-explanatory.
And here’s the Heart and Round Cookie Cutter. They fit perfectly on one slice of bread….. phew.
Here’s what i ended up with after playing in the kitchen for 15 minutes. I used the remainder of the egg to make Egg Sheet. Can you tell which of these are made with Egg Sheet.
