My Tefal 12cm Egg Frying Pan is back. See how cute it is. I’ve dumped my old egg frying pan as its performance was below par. After the first use, every egg that i fry with it stuck to the bottom, lol.
This is the second Tefal frying pan that i’ve bought. The first being the Tefal 28cm Tempo stir-fry pan. Tefal has a very good range of cookware. When i move to my own place next time, i’ll buy a lot of Tefal cookware for my kitchen.
To me, an egg frying pan is a must. My kid love eggs very much and you cant fry an egg properly using the 28cm frying pan. The egg whites will be all over the place. I dont like the wok either as i find it stupid to fry an egg with that huge thing.
I havent started using this Tefal Egg Frying Pan yet. Tomorrow’s Saturday and let’s see if i’m in the mood to make breakfast or not. No idea what’s available in the kitchen for me to cook also, lol. I’m out of hashbrown potatoes, that’s for sure. Forgot to buy some when i was at Parkson this noon. No bread either. But no worries, there’s plenty of seafood in the freezer. I’ll conjure something up.

The moment i saw this Tefal Tempo Stir-fry Pan on sale at Parkson, i bought it straight away. Tefal is a really good brand, just on the expensive side. This Tefal Tempo Stir-fry Pan is 28cm wide and has high sides. Great for cooking fried rice with. And i do cook a lot of fried rice with eggs as my kids love it very much.
I also bought a new eco-friendly wooden spatula to use with my new Tefal 28cm Tempo Stir-fry Pan. Though the label states this Tefal 28cm Tempo Stir-fry Pan has an ultra tough and durable surface, it’s best not to use our normal stainless steel spatula to cook with it. I dont really fancy using those nylon cooking utensils though Tefal also has a very nice range.
I’ll be a few of my kitchen’s cookware with a few more Tefal cookware. I need a new Tefal egg frying pan, and also a Tefal saucepan. Just havent decided on which size to buy. The additional Tefal cookware will complement my existing cookware, and hopefully make my cooking journey a more enjoyable one. Anyone using Tefal cookware here?

This is the first time i come across such a small frying pan. This rectangle frying pan is only the size of a piece of bread, lol. Costs only Rm5. Bought it for the fun of it, lol. Will use it to make egg toast for Gordon. Dont have to get slaughtered by Oldtown Kopitiam just so Gordon can eat egg toast there. Apart from that, what else can i fry with this rectangle frying pan?

Finally found my Maxim 12cm egg frying pan. Got it for Rm19.90 at Parkson. I’m using Maxim frying pan at home and glad i found this. There’s only two left on the shelf as the other has a broken handle. If not, i may have to buy the Tefal egg frying pan which costs more.
I havent started using my Maxim egg frying pan yet. But i guess it’s just the same. At least, the sides wont run now and i get a perfectly shaped round sunny-side up each time. HAPPY

Okay, this is going to be one of those random things that bug me each time i fry an egg. I dont like to use the big wok that my mother-in-law uses as it’s heavy and i hate to haul it to the sink for washing after using it. I have one of those Maxim 26cm non-stick frying pan which i bought dunno how many years ago. Time to replace it, anyway.
I hate the fact that the egg runs to the sides when i crack it in. I want it small and neat looking, hahaha. I went to Parkson to look for one and found a Tefal 12cm frying pan. The one that dont have the red spot in the middle. Cost around Rm25 or so. Then went home and Google for an egg frying pan and learned that a 12cm frying pan is exactly what i need, lol.
I havent bought it yet. I was there yesterday and i totally forgotten about it. Next trip, if i remember. Issshhhh, the perfectionist in me havent found one that i like. Neh, i want one that can make heart-shaped eggs wann. Mickey Mouse-shaped eggs would be best, lol. If anyone find one on the net, drop me a link and i’ll go buy. Cheers!!!
