Am having Mak Chuk today. It’s so hot today, and i’m having mine without ice. I find that it tastes nicer without ice. When was the last time you had Mak Chuk? If you havent, you can get a good one at the tong sui stall at Church Street (the road leading to Sam Tet Primary School entrance). Look for Gerai Makanan Hong Kee. The fried noodles there goes well with their daily selection of tong sui.

It started to rain the moment we left the house. Therefore, the kids didnt get to go to the park. My soon-to-be-4 toddler got all sulky and teary-eyed; short of wailing his lungs out in the car. Well, the weather has been this way for days. I just hope the kids get to go to the park at least once before Papa goes back to KL.
On the way home, i stopped by Praline, a bakery that sells good cakes and breads. My toddler wanted this Pandan Layered Cake topped with his favorite strawberry and peach. How to deny him this, right. It’s not too sweet. Hubby picked up some cream puffs and a loaf of Bamboo Charcoal bread with mixed nuts too. Mmmmm…. yummy…..

I’m relaxing with a bar of Godiva White Chocolate and red wine now. I’m skinny, so can whack the whole bar. Dont jeles larr, ok. It’s raining pigs and horses now. Dont feel like going anywhere. But soon, will have to leave my comfort zone and pick my kid up from school. Well, lemme think what’s for dinner tonight?
Godiva Chocolates are quite expensive. My friends now prefer to buy Godiva Chocolates online. I was told it’s far cheaper to buy Godiva Chocolates online compared to buying them from shops. I only buy Godiva Chocolates from the duty free shop whenever hubby goes overseas. Well, check out these great Godiva Chocolate bargains here. Dont forget to send me some too, ya :p

Hubby bought some desserts back from his Guangzhou trip some time in March if my memory serves me right. I almost forgot about them as i’ve conveniently stashed them high up on top of the fridge out of my kids’ reach. Havent tried them yet. This packet of Chinese Forest Frog’s Oviduct & Red Bean Lotus Seed Sweets is just one of them. I’ll update this post when it’s ready to be eaten
