Today is a very special day as it’s Chor 1 (1st day of CNY) and also Valentine’s Day at the same time. It’s such an auspicious day that even my frying pan greets me with a heart today.

This year’s Reunion Dinner is just about the same as the previous year’s. Both MIL and i were down with a bad cold-cough-sore throat-headache and to be honest, who’s it the mood to cook la. Moreover, i even discovered i had an eye infection in the midst of dinner. Interesting eh. As i still had to mind the kids, MIL cooked a few simple dishes. We had fish, wrapped oysters, stir-fried cauliflowers (mixed veg) with prawns, braised mushrooms with oysters, fatt choy and pork, and lotus root soup. Not bad la, horr.

This is my very first meal of Year 2010. Am having Foh San’s Char Siu Paus, Egg Tarts and Lor Mai Kai for breakfast. I’ve not been to Foh San since they opened their new outlet last year. The place is always jam-packed. Abuthen, there’s always take-away. Happy New Year. Good Food Forever!!

We’re having lunch here now. Anyone wanna have a go at Sushi King’s The Big Bowl Challenge? From 1 – 30 September, you can eat noodles for free if you can finish the bowl of Noodles & Soup within 10 minutes. If not, you gotta pay Rm38.80 for it! Factor in the 15% tax also, hoh.
