I seldom get to have lunch with hubby these days. He’s busy with a few new projects on hand. As we had to get some banking done, we went for a quick lunch at Hollywood Coffeeshop, Canning Garden.
I love their iced chestnut drink very much. So, i ordered two for the both of us. Hubby wanted Prawn Noodles, and i’ve not had Siamese Laksa for months. And the pic above was what we had that day.
If you happen to be around Canning Garden, do drop by Hollywood for a quick bite. Beef Noodles, Char Kuey Tiau, Nasi Lemak, Mamak Mee Goreng… Almost everything there is great. Trust me

It’s my first time eating Har Meen at Jen Jen Coffeeshop. A few friends tried it and told me it’s a must-have if i ever eat there. Well, i only have Kai Si Hor Fun each time i go there. Today, i entered the coffeeshop from the side where the Har Meen stall is. That’s why i ordered a bowl. And YES! It’s good. I even asked for extra "kangkung". If you were to ask me to rate it, i’ll give it a 7.5 out of 10.
My favorite is still the stall at Wah Nam Coffeeshop down town. Cant even remember if i’ve blogged about it before or not. I’ll go eat there one of these days and post a pic for you folks, ya.

It was hubby who ordered this when he joined me at the tong sui stalls one evening. The curry is thick and laden with coconut milk, not the kind that we like. Moreover, it’s not that healthy too as having too much coconut milk in your diet can contribute to a lot of health problems in the long run. But looking at this in the dead of the night is sheer torture. I’m so hungry now that i’ll wallop everything clean, minus the curry soup of cos. Looks like i gotta go make me a bowl of quaker oats to satisfy my hunger now…. *sulk*

It’s no secret that i love Curry Noodles. If the place i eat at sells it, i will definitely order it. This pic was actually taken months ago. Am browsing through my phone’s photo album and feeling guilty of not posting this earlier. Good horr? Drooling leh, lol. By the way, i had this at the coffeeshop behind Scotch Restaurant at Ipoh Garden South. Give it a try if you happen to eat there.
Well, once you’re done drooling over my pic, you may proceed to the next section. A Fistful Of Stances starts tonight. Hope you all enjoy this new drama series. Dont forget to check back each day for the daily episode updates, ya. Join my Twitter for access and all the juicy gossips.

There’s a coffeeshop called 101 at Shatin Park, Ipoh, that serves really good Pan Meen. If you know where Shatin Park Oldtown Kopitiam is, 101 is just at the end of the first row of shops AFTER the traffic lights on your right. That’s if you are driving along Jalan Pasir Puteh from town.
Whenever hubby has his breakfast there alone, he’s sure to tapau two packets back for the kids and i. My favorite choice of noodle is their Basil noodle. I love mine dry, with vegetable soup on the side. The kids love theirs with just minced pork, nothing else. Sometimes, they’ll request for some anchovies from my plate.
Once, i tried their Spicy variety. Dont quite fancy it though. Neither does hubby. Well, if you happen to be around Shatin Park in the morning, then drop by 101 and try the Pan Meen there. I hope you find it to your liking.
