Thai Green Curry Noodles at Black Canyon Coffee

This is hubby’s favorite dish at Black Canyon Coffee. We go to Jaya Jusco very often. To him, the Thai Green Curry Noodles he had at Black Canyon Coffee last Sunday was not the same as the usual ones. Says it’s kinda “thin” as in diluted, you get what i mean. How come? He’s a regular there and orders this dish very often. So, he can definitely detect any changes to the recipe.

I had their Tom Yam with Fusili and Chicken the other day. It tastes fine to me. Well, i seldom eat this Thai Green Curry Noodles so, it’s “no comments” from me. Does anyone find the Thai Green Curry at Black Canyon Coffee different lately? If anyone from the Black Canyon Coffee management reading this, i guess you’d better go check on your Thai Green Curry recipe.

The Gem Of Life - Glorious Food

The Gem Of Life episode 17 will be on tonight. I’m going to watch The Gem of Life online streaming at Oldtown Kopitiam. It’s the one thing i enjoy doing in the evenings and that is having tea at Oldtown Kopitiam.

Despite their high prices, the food there is palatable. Nothing to shout about though. What you see here is their latest promotional offerings. A simple bowl of rice served with spicy minced chicken with an egg and cucumbers. Comes with a glass of iced lemon tea to cool me down. Not cheap though, with taxes, i have to fork out 10 bucks for a meal here.

Well, it’s near my house and i dont have to drive. What i save on petrol is contributed here, lol. Do you want to know where to download and watch The Gem Of Life online for free? I’ve left the link here. You can go check it out, ya.

Starbucks Ipoh Parkson

I got sick of staying home. Today is just one of those typical days where i have to go down to run some errands. I packed up my laptop as i feel like blogging outside today. There’s nothing much to do after lunch. I wanted to go get one of those air purifier for the room as i find it getting dustier by the day and headed straight to Parkson.

At time of writing this, i have exactly an hour and a half to kill. I found a nice cosy couch at Starbucks Ipoh Parkson and here i am, doing something i’ve not done for a long time. And that is blogging outside the comfort of my room, lol. It’s not a very hot afternoon. The sky is cloudy and i have a feeling it may pour in the late evening. Hopefully after i pick my kid from school.

Over the next few weeks or so, i will give this blog a revamp; change the template, clean up some unused plugins and add some shopping pages and new sections to it. The thing is i want to see how best to go about the whole thing. Meanwhile, let me enjoy my mug of Chamomile Tea at Starbucks and continue thinking with my Sony Retractable Headphones stuck to my ears.

Dinner at Black Canyon

We took the kids up to the Foodcourt for some fun before having dinner at Black Canyon. Gordon only played for a while and laid down on the play area. I took him back to the seat and let him play with his PSP whilst we waited for hubby and Malcolm. Didnt take long as he found a car lying around and picked that up. We waited for a while and as no one came to claim it, we let him have it.

I dont think Gordon can stomach anything. not that i want to since he’s still running a temperature. We ordered something from their Set Dinner Menu priced at Rm12.95++. I had Spaghetti with Chicken Hot Basil, whilst hubby had Green Curry Rice with Chicken. Both comes with Hot Tom Yum Soup and Ice-cream. To be honest with you, i cant really remember the names of the dishes we had. But they are more or less like that, lol.

Black Canyon is the only decent place for dinner as far as Jusco is concerned. The foodcourt was jam-packed earlier as the time we were there coincided with the Breaking of Fast. Almost every table we walked past had food on it with Muslims waiting for Masuk Waktu Imsak and Masa Berbuka Puasa. After dinner, we bought what we needed to buy and hurried back home as Gordon wasnt feeling too well.

How To Claim Warranty For Philips Toaster Oven

For reasons known only to my Philips Toaster Oven, it refused to start yesterday morning. And you know how much my kids love their Hash Browns for breakfast in the mornings. What to do, had to go upstairs and dig around for the warranty card. Now, this is what i found out. The warranty card was dated March 2007, but i bought my Philips Toaster Oven in November last year. This blog has documented that clearly. But i was lucky it carries a two years warranty and so, i’m still very much covered. At least for another half a year or so. You’d better check properly when you buy your next electrical item lest you get shortchanged on your warranty period.

As usual, took the kids out to Parkson for lunch. After that, went to the Electrical Department and queried the Supervisor there on How To Claim Warranty For Philips Toaster Oven. Was told i have two choices. Either i bring the whole Philips Toaster Oven back to them for warranty claim, or i can sent the Philips Toaster Oven to the Philips Authorised Service Center somewhere in Jalan Kuala Kangsar myself. According to them, the latter will be much faster option. You can find the nearest Philips Authorised Service Center listed at the back of the warranty card. The thing is, Jalan Kuala Kangsar is like right at the OTHER END OF THE WORLD from where i live, BLEHHHHHHHHHH.

When i told hubby, surprisingly, he said he’ll drive me there. HUH???? No complaints? No rants? Ah hah…. and then i found out why. He’s been looking at car magazines for like years. The house is filled with Car Traders magazines, lol. You can practically find them stashed everywhere. Under the bed, in the bathroom, toilet, living hall, and yes, inside the family car too. And there are plenty of car showrooms along Jalan Kuala Kangsar. See, see, see….. see how fast his mind can think for once. Geee… i love the idea too. DAR…… I WANT THAT RED HOT BEEMER…………….
