I’m still trying to recover from all the food and beer i had over Christmas. Friends were back from KL and requested for these Salted-eggs Crabs for dinner. It’s good, or maybe i’ve not had crabs in years, lol! Hate having to dig the meat from the shells and also the fact that one tiny bit of shell just have to lodge itself between my teeth each time i eat crabs. Nevertheless, i survived Christmas 2009. Looking forward to another session to wrap up year 2009.
We also have one last new drama series starting. It’s A Watchdog’s Tale. The following days are gonna be super busy for me. I ordered this dish when i went to the new Cafe Takahashi, which serves Japanese food, at Kinta City. It looked good on their menu. It’s strips of beef with enoki mushrooms inside, with some cheese sauce over it. I sprinkled some red chilli pepper on it when i snapped this pic. It tasted fine, but the beef texture had me returning it to the kitchen. It’s so tough that i cant even chew it properly. I spoke to the waitress politely explaining why i had to return it. She was very nice and took it back to the kitchen. I did not order anything else as i’ve lost the mood already. I only ate what hubby ordered. Nice pic, eh.
Oh, forget about the dish and let’s focus on this new drama series instead. It’s Beyond The Realm Of Conscience. Why those Honkie flers named it so long is really beyond me. It’s a rainy Saturday, and i’m eating a big plate of Chicken Chop Rice with Egg. I’m actually killing time here at Kopitiam Junction whilst waiting for Gordon. He’s at the Art School now. Will have to go pick him up soon. Bought him a birthday cake. My boy turns 6 today. Time flies. Malcolm cannot wait to go “pick Kor-kor up” too. He’s more interested in the cake more than anything else, lol. Kids…..

I was preparing breakfast for my kids when the phone rang. Hubby called to inform me that one of his favorite celebrities, Michael Jackson, died of cardiac arrest today, June 25, at UCLA Medical Center at 3pm. The “King Of Pop” was 50. According to brother Randy Jackson, Michael Jackson collapsed at his residence in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles, California, about noon Pacific time, suffering cardiac arrest.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his Los Angeles home around 12:30 p.m. and sources with the Los Angeles Fire Department said he had no pulse either. Paramedics tried to resuscitate Jackson and took him to UCLA Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.Though Michael Jackson led a life full of scandals and controversies, he did however helped “Heal The World” with his songs.
The whole world mourns the death of Michael Jackson today. I still remember when i was just 13, dancing to “Beat It” on stage. His Moonwalk was world famous and every kid on the block wants to learn how to moonwalk like Michael Jackson. I remember the songs i sang at school together with my friends. Oh, i remember so many things about Michael Jackson. It’s just so unfortunate that Michael Jackson had to die this way. It’s so sudden, and i’m still very shocked that Michael Jacksondied. Malcolm started eating spicy food when he was not even two years old. He seems to like it very much. It all started when we bought Fish head Curry back one day. Gordon used to like curry when he was younger, but he prefers not to eat it now. He dont mind trying though, lol.
We took Malcolm to the Nasi Kandar shop last Friday for tea. We ordered Roti Sardin for him. We asked for Fish Curry and Dhal to go with it. Malcolm didnt want the Roti Sardin but he truly enjoyed slurping away at both the Fish Curry and Dhal. The Fish Curry was a bit too salty on its own but the Dhal was fine. Just look at the sweat on his forehead, lol.
