The weather is freaking hot these few days. It’s more than 36 degrees, man, wtf. Aitelyu, this kind of heat is really giving me a bad mood everyday. Worse than PMS. After sending my kid to school, hubby and i, together with my good friend Efe, went to cool down at Coffee Bean. I ordered this Caesar Salad as i just wanted to stuff my face with something non-filling.
CNY is less than two weeks away and i’m am not in the mood to celebrate at all. Too tired to do anything since the start of the new school term. My heart is out of sync with my body. Timing out-out-deii. Feeling lethargic all the time. What about you? Started your CNY cookie baking frenzy yet?
MIL asked me to come up with the CNY Reunion Dinner Menu worr. Cook what la. I’ll most probably ask my sis for some Chinese New Year dishes and recipes. She has plenty. Cook for me better, lol! I’d love to eat, sleep and do absolutely nothing this Chinese New Year :p

This was what my friend, Pat, ordered when she came over to join me at the Tong Sui stalls across the road from my kid’s school. It’s a huge bowl of mixed fruits with peanuts and ice-cream. I helped her eat some. Oh, that’s after i’ve had a bowl of Ngau Lam Meen and Ching Pou Leong, lol. Dunno whom to blame now for all the extra pounds at all the wrong places.

I’m still trying to recover from all the food and beer i had over Christmas. Friends were back from KL and requested for these Salted-eggs Crabs for dinner. It’s good, or maybe i’ve not had crabs in years, lol! Hate having to dig the meat from the shells and also the fact that one tiny bit of shell just have to lodge itself between my teeth each time i eat crabs. Nevertheless, i survived Christmas 2009. Looking forward to another session to wrap up year 2009.
We also have one last new drama series starting. It’s A Watchdog’s Tale. The following days are gonna be super busy for me. I’m so hungry now. Wish of the moment would be to gobble up this plate of Dancing Fried Rice. Try this delicious fried rice if you happen to go to Greentown. It’s available at Chatter Corner. I hang out at Yik Foong’s Chatter Corner more as i go to the yarn store there quite often.
I believe they named it Dancing Fried Rice as you can really see the Bonito flakes dancing about in the wind when they place it before you. The other ingredient is minced pork. The combination is really good. I’m going to buy a big packet of Bonito flakes on my next trip to the supermarket. I think my kids will like it too.
