These are what i bought from Wah Seng (Ipoh), a baking supplies store, on Friday.
Two packets of Muffin Pre-mixes. One Blueberry Muffin Mix, the other Kiwi Muffin Mix. Rm6 each packet.
And of course, some mini muffin cups for use with my Philips toaster oven. I baked muffins with papercupsĀ using toaster oven before as i didnt have these small baking cups then. See how much work needs to be done before i get to bake muffins in a toaster oven, lol.
I went to Wah Seng, Ipoh’s largest baking supplies store this afternoon. They’ve set up a table right in the middle of the store and i saw so many beautiful Christmas Gingerbread Cookie Kits and Gingerbread Tree Kits there. At first, i thought those are Gingerbread Man pre-mixes complete with Gingerbread Man cookie cutter and i was so tempted to buy a set back. But no, it’s actually a kit with 8 pre-baked Gingerbread Man and some icing for your own DIY decorating. Hmmmm…. no fun lerr lidat, haimai. Too shortcut for my liking, lol.
The Gingerbread Tree Kits also contain pre-baked cookies. Just stack the cookies on top of each other and decorate as you like. No brainer, mah. But i guess for those who doesnt like to bake, or those who just cant bake at all, these will be great Kits to buy back and let the kids have some fun with. Christmas isnt complete without Gingerbread Man Cookies and Gingerbread Houses, eh. Oh, i still have time to consider whether to buy a set or two back or not. Let’s see how my mood goes. I just may.
If you dont have the time to bake Gingerbread Man Cookies and make Gingerbread Houses. Dont worry. We now live in the internet age and everything is available at the click of a mouse. For your convenience, i will be setting up a store where you can find Everything Gingerbread for Christmas. From pre-baked cookie kits to Gingerbread cookie cutters and Gingerbread House kits. So, check out the Gingerbread Supplies Store later on, k.

This is where i buy most of my grocery items from. You’re looking at the vegetables section now. And no, i dont shop here everyday. Think i print money meh. The prices here are a tad too steep for normal folks, trust me. If not for convenience sake, i wouldnt have bothered. But Cold Storage is definitely much nearer that Jusco.
What i like about Cold Storage is that it has lot’s of imported organic brands here which i otherwise wont find anywhere else. The organic section is located right before the check out area. Ohhh, what the heck. We save some here, spend some there and try to strike a balance in between. Any of you folks shop here often?
