Today’s bento consists of wholemeal bread with kaya, jelly, and cookies. Hope my kid enjoys his snack during recess.

A few nights ago, i was craving badly for those Rm1 pyramid-shaped nasi lemak. So much so that i didnt really enjoy the chau meen that hubby cooked. It was midnight, and unless we drive out to a 24hrs mamak shop, there wont be any at that hour. No sane person would do that at midnight la, ok.
This morning, hubby surprised me with this nasi lemak. No, it’s not those pyramid-shaped ones, but take-away style from the malay hawker stall at his workplace canteen. Came in a styrofoam box and lacks the aroma of banana leaf. Nevertheless, it still has all the ingredients that all nasi lemak are made of. Better dont complain. Just eat :p

Had this bowl of momochacha at a new coffeeshop near my mom’s house. Not as good as claimed by the cook, but my hubby wants to eat there, watudu….
